Shirtless Tim Robards is bizarrely spotted hanging around set of a Jennifer Hawkins photo shoot in 2009

It was long before he rose to fame as Australia's first Bachelor, but Channel Ten's Tim Robards was already hanging around famous faces.
Newly emerged photographs that date back to 2009, see the 30-year-old hunk lurking in the background of one of Jennifer Hawkins' photo shoots with Harper's Bazaar.
The shirtless reality television star is seen parading his sculpted physique as he loiters just metres away from the former Miss Universe while she poses on a rocky outcrop on Sydney's Tamarama Beach.

Muscles bulging, an easily recognisable Robards looks to be flexing his washboard abs as he stands with his hands on his hips.

A pair of technicolour board shorts sit dangerously low on the bulked-up former bachelor's waist and his hair is styled in long, boyish curls.
Bizarrely, the chiropractor's back is turned to the stunning model despite her eye-catchingly bright attire, and he is instead positioned squarely in front of the nearby paparazzi.

Another behind-the-scenes frame captures Robards side on, again looking away from a bikini-clad Hawkins, this time with a pensive expression on his face.
The photographs were taken while Hawkins was shooting a cover and accompanying spread for the November issue of Harper's Bazaar in 2009.
Robards did take occasional work as a model at the time but it is unclear whether or not he was working with Hawkins as they do not appear together in any of the frames.

Hawkins changes between two equally provocative outfits for the shoot, and would most certainly have caught attention in a skimpy metallic bikini and electric orange pair of trousers.
She later slipped into a bright pink wet-suit that was pulled down to her waist to expose a printed black and white bikini.
The bronzed beauty showed off her pageant queen figure to perfection as she laid by the water's edge, stretching her figure across the sand.

On Tuesday a series of shots surfaced of a shirtless Tim posing for local swimwear and underwear brand Aussie Bum.
The muscle man was shot pulling numerous poses in very little - including a tight pair of white briefs and colourful swimming costumes.
The Newcastle-native looked confident as he splashed about in the ocean and in other pulled a steely look directly at the camera.
