Lindsay Lohan is off the hook once again when it comes to jailtime, as the troubled starlet dodged another legal bullet on Thursday.
Judge Stephanie Sautner ruled that Lindsay did not violate her probation when she failed a recent alcohol test, because legally testing was only required until February 25, therefore her latest misstep was not enough to lead to any jailtime or further legal action. The judge did, however, let Lindsay have a bit of a verbal lashing, telling her that house arrest is not party time, and that she can now only have one friend at a time to her Venice house — and that she was guilty of one thing: “Extremely poor judgment.”
Wearing a conservative outfit in comparison to her past court wardrobes — striped button-up shirt and black pants with Aviator shades — Lohan briskly walked into the courthouse as photographers and onlookers shouted for her attention, and made her exit in an equally quick manner after the hearing.
Shortly after being let off the hook, Lindsay reached out to her fans via Twitter, saying: “Thank you to all of my fans for your support. Sending you Love and Light. xo”
The troubled actress, who is currently on house arrest and a no-tolerance ban from alcohol and drugs, reportedly failed an alcohol test administered on the day she had a rooftop party over Memorial Day weekend, which could result in her going back to jail for a lengthy period of time.
TMZ reported that Lohan failed one of two alcohol tests given to her, which were administered on separate days — one of them being on the day of her party. She tested clean for other drugs.
