The former X Factor contestant - who rose to fame on the 2008 series of the ITV talent contest where she was eliminated after the semi-finals - couldn't have looked happier when she was pictured frolicking around on a beach in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, during her recent trip away.

Diana, 24, channeled her inner vintage pin-up as she slipped into an electric blue Fifties-style bikini which worked wonders for flattering her slimline figure.

The top featured sexy coss-over detailing while the bottoms were high-waisted in style.
Although her flat stomach was concealed beneath the pants, she offered onlookers a glimpse of her taut abs as she splashed around the sea and did her best Baywatch impression.

Diana didn't appear to have a care in the world as she larked around in the sea, successfully proving she's over her Burberry model and rock-band singer ex George who has since shacked up with Instagram-famous fashion blogger Megan Ellaby.
She oozed confidence as she took in the delights of The Golden State, accompanied by a female friend, with her long blonde hair worn natural and tumbling down over her shoulders and a light layer of make-up bringing out her features.
Since splitting with 25-year-old George - who is the lead singer of five-piece band One Night Only and whom she was in a relationship with since the beginning of 2011 - Diana was briefly linked to Olly Murs in a casual capacity.
