Before Skyfall, Marlohe had only appeared in a handful of French TV shows.
Marlohe originally wanted to become an artist and pianist. She studied at the prestigious French arts school Conservatoire de Paris for ten years.
"I think he was my coach or something. And after the dream, suddenly I felt so peaceful," she said
Marlohe says she's attracted to guys with a good sense of humor.
“He doesn’t need to be handsome,” she told FHM magazine. "If he has nothing to say or he is not funny or doesn’t have something happening in his eye, then he is not attractive. Charisma and sense of humour is what gives him that ‘wow.’”
Marlohe's dream role is to play the Joker in the Batman series.
"Because, for me, he is talented, of course, but also he has a quarter of an alien, one quarter of an animal, one quarter of a man, and one quarter of a woman," she said in a GQ interview. "And for me, that's what I like to see on screen."
He recalled: "We were shooting it on stage at Pinewood - we'd built the shower and the room and all that stuff. She was in the shower, I said, 'Cut,' and said to her, 'Bérénice, you can get out of the shower now, we're not shooting, we'll go for another take in a minute.' And she had no clothes on at all, just stark naked. And she said, 'No, it's fine, I'm quite happy in here.' I said, 'Really?' She said, 'Yeah, it's much warmer.'"
Marlohe owns three replica guns at home, and even asked if someone could teach her how to fire one while filming Skyfall.
"I always felt I should know how to look with one. You know? So I've stood a lot in front of the mirror with them," she said.
